Thanks for the post. I am very interested in setting event tracking up. One question: If I were to clear the Shopify Analytics account section to enter the coding into my template, would I lose the ability to track revenue on my site since the cart is on a different URL/server than my store is?

@Jason: That's a good question, and one that I have not fully investigated or tested out. I'll try to look more into that and might update the post with what I find.

For my store, I was far more concerned with seeing what products might be getting added to the cart and was less concerned with what happened after checkout. We're still getting started, so just getting basic conversions going is my main concern. Tracking revenue would come next for us.

hello, i am using Shopify and I am only on the Basic plan so I'm not able to see the detailed stats on Shopify. I have a Google Analytic account but the report there seems to give me different numbers of visitors to my site than what it says on my home page on Shopify.

I have just put in the codes you've kindly provided her into my Theme.Liquid document before the </head> section. What i would like to know is if I have put the 2 sets of codes in the right area and where would i be able to see the detailed statistics? would it come up in my Google Analytic page? I'm not great with computers and it's taken me ages to get this far! any help would be hugely appreciated!

Many thanks in advance

Shopify is a good way to start a business, and I’ve seen many success stories unfold where the people are friends of mine. Google Analytics tracking is a good way to maximize exposure on the web, and that’s good for any business these days. Thanks for sharing on how the snippet can be included on every page. sell points

But a friend of mine said that the other free analytics tools we have ( Like bing webmaster ) works fine too. I am not sure about it but would that affect the sites performance if i incorporate both google analytics and bing webmaster. What do you think? Certificate attestation
